Local cardiologist gets world class award

TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) – UTMC Cardiologist Dr. Blair Grubb was awarded the “Medical Professional of the Decade Award” from the British Heart Rhythm Society in Birmingham, England.

Grubb specializes in treating Dysautonomia conditions. This is an umbrella term used to describe several different medical conditions that cause a malfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System. That part of our make-up controls different functions of the body that we don’t consciously think about such as heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature.
